The company’s strategic objective is to improve industrial safety performance, reduce injury rates, ensure incident-free operations, and continuously minimize environmental impact.

• Timely and comprehensive identification of HSE hazards, risks, and environmental aspects
• Objective assessment of HSE risks and environmental aspects
• Timely response to the identified HSE risks and environmental aspects
• Limiting negative impacts of HSE risks and environmental aspects on employees, the public, the environment, as well as on the LUKOIL Group’s physical assets and reputation

All activities are based on the timely identification and assessment of HSE risks and environmental aspects, and the implementation of necessary preventive measures to reduce and maintain risks at an acceptable level.

As managers advance within the organization, their responsibilities and expected contributions toward fulfilling industrial safety, occupational safety, and environmental requirements increase.

Every manager and employee must personally comply with industrial safety, occupational health, and environmental requirements; intervene in unsafe actions or working conditions; support colleagues; prevent or correct contractor violations; and thereby prevent and minimize incidents and adverse environmental effects.

Root causes of non-conformities and incidents in the areas of industrial safety, occupational safety, and environmental protection must be identified through the evaluation of incident investigation reports, followed by the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions to eliminate these causes.
